WES IS ALMOST 3! (NEXT MONTH)
Wes used the term "laundry basket" on Sunday, when we were hunting for Alex's cat. "The cat is hiding in the laundry basket." I didn't know he knew the words "laundry" or "basket"! A few nights ago while laying next to Wes at bedtime, Wes asked me, "Mummy, are you happy?" "Yes," I smiled. "Mummy, are you sad?" Wes asked. "No, I am not sad," I said. "Mummy is happy, mummy is not sad," he quips. It was quite a tender moment, with Wes grinning away. He is a sweet boy when he is in a good mood! He is quite chatty when happy, and has many a raucous moment with Erin growling or shouting, or dancing in abandon. See video above. We are still trying to manage tantrums and him ignoring instructions. One way is to bribe him with sweets and time on the computer, though I don't know if bribing is the best method for discipline!
