2 YEARS ALMOST 6 MONTHS
"Goo-flower, " said Wes. "Goo-flower, goo-flower," he goes, as he descends the steps to the living room. This was some months ago. He is saying something- but I could not dicipher it. Fast forward a few months and goo-flower sounds more like sku-driver, which is...screwdriver! Whenever a toy stops working he will say sku-flower, which means to say it needs a screwdriver. Wes is trying to speak a lot nowadays. He sometimes babbles unintelligably but is clearly trying to say something.
His favourite phrases so far:
- mine!
- my turn!
-not working!
- door closing/ door opening
Recently, he found me in his bedroom, and this is our conversation:
Wes: What doing?
J: Just sorting some stuff out
Wes: What stuff?
J: You know, toys...
30/4/24
Wes is with G. He is saying: Is it outside cold? Is it cold? Is it...
Wes has an inherent sense of fun and has a great laugh. His innate sense of adventure and exploration means we have to keep tabs on him all the time. His childminder is very impressed at his football skills.
