Wesley Octopus' Early Days

We recently completed Wes' 2 year old review with the health visitor. He is 85cm tall (slightly over the 9th percentile) and 11.65kg. (slightly over the 25th percentile). Eventhough he is not that tall or heavy, the health visitor reported no concerns about his development.  Wes is pretty good at communicating "my turn" and "mine", both favourites and used on Erin a lot. He can also understand some directions, correctly identify many pictures and animals (albeit not speaking very clearly- he says Opopus for Octopus, iraffe for giraffe) and body parts. He likes the oval shape alot and calls "oval" out in pictures and letters.  His strongest skills are certainly gross motor- going up and down the stairs, running, jumping and climbing. The funniest thing is the feedback from his childminder.
