2nd birthday

Boisterous cheeky Wes is 2! His verbal superpower has increased in leaps and bounds in the last few weeks. Now he is able to identify all the animals in the Dear Zoo book including the camel (which was previously a giraffe to him). He has started saying colours, numbers and letters, though not identifying the right colours, numbers or letters. Interestingly, when he looks at words or numbers he says letters and numbers out loud. His favourite word must be "ice-keem" which then sees him opening the freezer door and looking for ice-cream. 

Wes has been weaned since 29 September. It was a really daunting process with 2 nights of crying. We stayed up late watching Sing! on Friday until he fell asleep. On day 2 I let him play some games on the computer. Day 3, I watched some music videos with him and he fell asleep quite quickly. He is now independent!

We bought him a trike for his birthday and granny/grandpa got him a football. (he slept with the football last hight). He is a cheeky chops with a good sense of humour. We love Wes!
