WES IS 7 MONTHS!

 

Today he sat up with his toys around him and did not topple for a good minute. Very impressed that he is hitting the typical milestone of sitting upright at 7 months, (7 month- sit, 8 months- crawl according to the proverbial chinese saying), though he isn't really upright but supported by toys or his arm. :P

Wes is a delightful little baby- always smiling when you look at him. This is probably my strongest impression of him when I look back at this period in the future- a smiling baby. Wes is doing well with solids. If he isn't tired he is happy to try most things. He is not too keen on roast carrots or rice porridge though. He is also happy to scoff down mushy food. 

Recently he is able to articulate what he wants. For instance, I took Erin's plastic mobile phone from him and gave him his bee toy. He looked at it and complained and didn't want to take it. He was happy when I put the mobile phone back in his hands.

Wes goes to bed between 7pm to 8pm every day. He is crotchety during this time. Wes is at the verge of crawling. He has this way of rocking back and forth on all fours which looks quite cute- almost launching into a crawl. He is very mobile though.
